They toppled Roe. Now they’re advancing—methodically, relentlessly—on every other right they’ve marked for destruction.

This week we expose the Christian conservative assault strategy: choke off contraception, dismantle marriage equality, and tighten state control over your body, your relationships, and your future.

The targets are circled. The march has begun.

From the moment the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision shattered Roe v Wade in 2022, we knew this wasn’t going to end with abortion. The Christian nationalist movement—backed by billion-pound think-tanks, political apostles, and a theocratic playbook—was never just about “protecting babies.”

It was about control.

And control doesn’t stop at banning abortion—it’s beginning to target contraception, IVF, same-sex marriage, and even who you can love behind closed doors.

Contraception: The Next Casualty

Forget the old right-wing refrain about “safe, legal, and rare” or “We’re not coming for birth control.” That mask has slipped.

The Trump administration is preparing to destroy nearly $9.7 million worth of US -funded contraceptives—implants, IUDs, pills—all destined for women in war zones, refugee camps, and low-income regions. These supplies, stored in a Belgian warehouse in Geel, will be shipped to France for incineration despite having long expiration dates (2027–2031). Offers from NGOs and the UN to redistribute them were rejected due to ideological restrictions like the Mexico City Policy. The destruction will cost US taxpayers at least $160,000 (New York Times, Reuters).

This isn’t medicine—it’s political theatre. As Annie Laurie Gaylor of the Freedom From Religion Foundation warns, the end of Roe was only the starting pistol for attacks on reproductive freedom.

Same-Sex Marriage in the Crosshairs

Meanwhile, the far right is sharpening its knives for Obergefell v Hodges—the 2015 ruling that legalised same-sex marriage nationwide.

Kim Davis—the Kentucky clerk jailed in 2015 for refusing to issue marriage licences to same-sex couples—is now petitioning the Supreme Court to overturn the landmark decision. She calls it “egregiously wrong” and a “legal fiction,” arguing her First Amendment religious rights were violated (ABC News).

This is the first formal request since Obergefell to uproot marriage equality. At least nine US states have already introduced resolutions or laws to block marriage licences for LGBTQ people or to urge the Court to reverse Obergefell. The Southern Baptist Convention has made overturning same-sex marriage a top priority.

The Pattern Is the Point

Abortion wasn’t the endgame—it was the entrance gate.

First Roe. Then contraception. Then IVF. Then marriage equality. Next: criminalising queer relationships or reshaping family laws.

This isn’t a slippery slope—it’s a blueprint.

Why This Matters Now

The far right is wagering on your exhaustion. They expect us to think, “They’d never really take away birth control” or “Marriage equality is safe now.”

They said the same thing about Roe.

They are coming for it all—and unless we fight like our bodies and relationships depend on it—they will get it.

Control over your body. Your love. Your future.
